BONFIRE NIGHT
For the first time a Bonfire Night was held at the school with the theme of horror at its periphery. The night started with the lighting of the Bonfire in the Quad of the school whose flames reached upto 15 feet in the air. The invited Band called ' EXILE ' then gave a noisy but dynamic rendition of their favourite composition. This was followed by a wonderful costume show by the boys directed by Rao Shoaib Ahmed showing a Red Indian dance and skit. Then followed a rendition of the witches scene from Shakespeare's Macbeth directed by Michael Power our eminent teacher from the United Kingdom. Two of our teachers Mr. M. Zubair and Mr. Niaz Kazi entertained the crowd with popular songs with EXILE accompanying them.In between some horror movies entertained and scared the crowd. Then EXILE vowed the young ones with a very favourite and fast moving rendition to which everyone got into the dancing mode.
The evening ended at 11:00 p.m. with some fireworks arranged by Rao Shoaib.
